Roxana Josefina Martínez is a multi-disciplinary artist working in installation, writing, and design. Her work explores themes of nature, body, space, material, and an intuitive means of hand making to create architectural constructions. She engages with vibrant colors to expresses the spirit of her nostalgic Mexican upbringing.
Roxana earned a BA in studio art from the University of California, Riverside (2012) and an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2015). She is currently a Display Coordinator for Anthropologie.
Her work has been exhibited at the Sweeney Art Gallery (2012), the Phyllis Gill Gallery (2012), the 1310 Gallery, Spazio Rossana Orlandi (2015) during Milan Design Week, and the National Museum of Mexican Art (2015).
